My Ridgeline broke!

After 8 years of ownership I had my first item wear out and break. (besides a set of brake pads).

One of my rear tail light bulbs is burnt out. A lemon I tell ya  ;D

That's very typical Honda. Can I ask did you buy it new? And how many km does it have now? thx

Yes bought new and only about 125k kms on it. Those 125k kms have not been soft however. Plenty of backroads hauling dirtbikes and the like. I figure it is at  it's midlife before it becomes a third doing chores type vehicle. So we will see if this bulb will last until then  ;D

A good German engineer would have wired that brake light in series with the door locks or transmission or something

How True! No way it should go into gear with that bulb out.  ;D

Must be a massive Honda issue. I just had to replace a tail light bulb on my Acura. Is there going to be a recall? Or a class action that we can join?

For closure: I treated the Ridgeline to a OEM bulb replacement.
