I’ve decided on the TLX.

The least surprising thing I will read today.

It's a nice ride. Show us some pics in show 'n shine and enjoy!

/ thread.  ;D

No Legacy in the mix? Or Fusion if they still make the AWD?

$450-500 tax in, lease I imagine?

I don’t love the look of the Fusion (the Five Hundred SHO was tempting lol). Subaru was a little underpowered for me.

Oh gosh. I’m referring to the Legacy obviously. Being that’s the car mentioned.

If they're the same monthy price, and that's all that matters, I don't see how someone can choose the Maxima over the TLX.

I like the odd looks of the Maxima, but I'd go for the Acura.

Oh, and if used cars are on the table, grab a Genesis 5.0 R-Spec.  ~ 430 hp you can have even bigger bragging rights.  Off lease Q50 would be worth a look as well.

The Q50 with the 3.0T is sporty. Definitely worth a look.

Don’t really like the exterior or interior of it. I’d imagine there’s going to be a major Infiniti redesign sometime soon. It has looked like this for a while.

I like the odd looks of the Maxima, but I'd go for the Acura.

They had a top trim Maxima at the auto show in flaming orange with black trim and I have to say I thought it looked totally badass.  But I'd likewise go for the TLX between those two.

Great choice.
Choosing a 'sporty' car that's saddled with a CVT (and FWD) would make baby Jebus cry.   ;D

Have you driven one? I didn't find the CVT to be bad at all. I still wouldn't choose the Max over the TLX, but the transmission wasn't a deal breaker. In fact, it was better than the transmission in the first year TLX I drove, which couldn't seem to understand that when I stepped hard on the throttle, I was asking for a downshift.  It seemed like engine and transmission were barely on speaking terms. I've read it is better now,  but back then the Maxima CVT was straight up the better transmission.

I drove a Maxima and it was a fun car. You can put the transmission in sport mode id you want fun with a stepped transmission.

No, and I'll admit I have a hate-on for CVT's.
The review I posted on pg.1 supports my view as the CVT in the Max is doing all the things I hate about them
Acura appears to have the transmission issues sorted there.

Anyway... dude should have bought an MX-5.   ;D

Weels,

I was thinking of you when I was in Barcelona.  I saw a few Crossteks.  Upon closer inspection, they were diesel with a manual transmission!  Maybe you would still have yours if that was an option here.

If you could get an LSD in the front I might believe you.  Otherwise, it is a front heavy, under steering pig that is borderline irrelevant now that the Altima is a vastly better ride.

Well the acceleration was fun at least, but it did a decent job of hugging the road for a large car when I took it to Fernie.

To further derail,

AB,

Here is the most recent update to Sagrada Familia, but the inside has seen the most updates.
