I've always wanted something like this for a truck. Best of both worlds, not underneath, no lost room in the bed

Best solution:Not taking up space in the bed. Don't need to unload the bed to get to it. Easy to access and it's not subject to the crapstorm underneath the chassis.
Anyone else remember cars that had the spare in the engine bay?Find an old Subaru.
I kinda like the F150 system where the spare is packed full of meth.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

brother just had to replace the whole apparatus for his spare tire on his Xterra. Rusted to nothing and tire was seized in there and needed to be torched out.Was a few hundred to put on a new one, at my cost. Yikes.

On trips that were more than 50km just throw itin the back, or strap it to the roof. Thats just me. Never needed a spare. But it's only been 20 years.
