No 911s, Miatas or GT-Rs on the list....how the hell are you supposed to enjoy a long weekend with minivan or a CUV?!?!?!?!
Lighten up Francis.....

All the passenger room I need:

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Well, last time I checked Family Day is still in the winter. So yeah, sports cars wouldn't be fun, especially if you can't bring the family with you.

hard pass
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Crew Cab full-size truck on a family vacation, please.

Lots of passing power, more trunk space than any other vehicle, and you'll get to see tons of local countryside as you stop at every gas station on the way.  :rofl2:

The V70R wasn't a great family car. Lack of legroom for the family had me dumping it early.

Since snow storms and freezing rain. And also since you can't fit a family and their luggage for a little road trip.

But that's not everywhere.

And define "family".

A 911 worked for our family.

Ditto my IS-F....a pretty darn beastly car.

Exactly. You don't need a damn SUV or minivan to take the family on a little excursion. People are so heavily laden these days geez...

A nice sport sedan, or wagon, or even rrocket's old 911 work just fine. Now, if you have 3 kids and two are babies...yeah you need a bus. But for a small family, you can get plenty of sport and fun while hauling the people and stuff too.
