I would've added "Trucks are invincible in winter weather!" as a myth. Great article though.

Good article. A lot of good information I was not aware of.

Trucks may be cool to drive around, but they are workhorses above all else.

 I knew the tailgate should be up for fuel economy. I wasn't aware however about the tonneau cover. I'd get rid of it but can't stand frozen water and snow in my box.

The fuel economy penalty is likely in fractions of a percent.  The benefits of a tonneau cover (aesthetics, security,) far outweigh the little extra fuel you'll burn.
