Grand Caravan vs Town & country top trims
« on: February 07, 2019, 08:51:47 pm »
Are there any significant differences in trim levels between the top trims of the Grand caravan and town and country? They both seem very similar but couldn't see why the MSRP is so much more.

Hasn't the Town & Country been out of production for a few years now? The Pacifica replaced it as far as I know

No, I was referring to used (4-5 years old) ones.

At that age, the depreciation is such that the difference in price is minimal, and probably worth it to get all the extras. I would never have bought one of these new (even when they were still being made).

From looking more closely, it seems like the T&C has Nappa Leather, Sun Roof and 3rd row power seats, that you get over the top GC trims and options, but that seems to be pretty much it

msrp isn't that different really... the t and c also got bigger rebates. usually a couple k more that made up most of the difference.

the vehciles themselves weren't much different. most common comparison is a grand caravan crew plus vs a town and country touring-l. nearly the same car. t&c had second row window shades, heated seats in the stow and go, sometimes the power fold third row. if you went to a limited, you would find nicer leather, more chrome, HID lights, sunroof...

depending on the year, you also found the 4L engine in more t&cs... if its 2011 or newer, same engine all around (3.6l)
