RRRoll Up The Rim To Win 2019 Vehicle Prize
« on: February 06, 2019, 07:54:39 am »
40 x 2019 Jeep Compass North Vehicles, approx. odds at outset 1 in 6,630,705, approximate retail value (“ARV”) $36,700 CDN.

I'd sell it and buy something I want.

My odds of winning are pretty much nil as I rarely go to Tim's. But if I did go that one time and actually won, I'd also sell it.

Wonder what a dealer would give you for one. Maybe $30k?

Would take it and the CX-5 to Scoops and swap 'em for a Trackhawk.
Would mean I'd have to buy a Horton's coffee first,  so that ain't gonna happen either... :P

We are 'looking' for a small, fuel efficient vehicle for my wife to drive to work.  Honestly, a Compass such as this would be perfect for her.  I wouldn't go buy one, but if we won one, we'd keep it.

Is there an option to take a lump sum cash payment instead?

Funny how it's slowly turning into moan and whine thread before anyone even won anything...  ;D

 :iagree:

Sums it up for me too.  In my case, the "something I want" part will be mainly immediate investment for some of it combined with delayed gratification for the rest.  That's a long winded way of saying:  "I'm good for now".   ;D

It's a good looking vehicle, imho.  But, considering it's reliability, it'll be spending too much time parked at the dealer.

Is the 9spd tranny the same wonky one Honda is having trouble with? In any case, for AWD combined with reasonable driving dynamics it really needs a V6 IMHO.
