I'd love that as a winter beater.

Nice!

I've owned a few Nivas but the newest was a 1995 model. Interestingly these later ones used the fuel injection system from a Chevrolet Cavalier. They still had the manual crank handle for starting which one could in theory use with fuel injection. This one is kitted out with a lot of aftermarket items - often aftermarket wheels have the wrong offset and can burn up wheel bearings. Five gear pop out is the other thing to watch for.

Niva owners are a rather frugal bunch so the price might put off a lot of them.

it's interesting and all, but the seller is nuts if they think it's worth $20,000...the grammar in the ad is also very poor, but perhaps this person doesn't have a strong grasp of the language...it likely would have been a good idea to have a friend write the ad though.

Holy cyka, $20k. While a cool conversation piece, not $20k worth.

Good one Fob! Maybe $2-3k as a cottage trail beater. At $20k, the dude forgot that drinking vodka requires ample food or otherwise it invokes severe delusions.
