"All-wheel drive is included free of charge, as is a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display, and wireless charging for your various devices."

They are not free of charge , you paying $16,000 for the Ultimate AWD
Or is that new math ?

+1, unless it's a standard feature, I wouldn't call it free of charge. Even if it were a standard feature, I'd call it that -- a standard feature.

We had a 2010 Santa fe and it had the same engine base engine that this 2019 has.  Fuel rating is stil the same too 22 mpg city / 29 hwy.  reality, you'll do 400-450kms per tank in city driving and max 600kms or so all highway.

it's dated basic engine shouldn't be a consideration but most will still buy as hyundai will sell lots of these especially if they offer 0% over 84months

certainly not my 1st choice when we go to replace our current SUV

same size, but starting in 2012, the 2.4L has direct injection.

I found the base engine to be pretty decent in power delivery and noise when I drove it twice. I don't know about fuel economy, but it can't be too much worse compared to the competition.

It's a well-thought-out vehicle with lots of useful features.

The Fuel Econ for the Turbo version seems to be quite bit lower than some other turbo vehicles in the segment

Combined ratings

CRV 1.5T: 28 mpg
CX-5 2.5T: 24 mpg
Equinox 2.0T: 24 mpg
Santa Fe 2.0T: 21 mpg
