Am not a big fan of matte paint...but that matte gray doesn't look half bad.

And base price of $50K USD doesn't seem terrible...if competition is aimed squarely at the Cayman.

0-60 in 4.1 seconds, apparently...so it can move along briskly.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

The Canadian versions will have/be the premium options/trim and will be $80K plus.  Huge disappointment.  Should have called it something else.

No..because there hasn't been a CDN one yet.

FWIW, the $68K the Supra sold for in Canada in 1994 would equate to $105K today....

I'm more irritated that the Z4 gets 380+HP and the Supra gets about 50HP LESS!  WTF!!

Z4 probably need the extra HP , because all the extra weight the Germans will add to the Z4 installing redundant systems  :rofl2:

Didn't think I missed anything.  Strange about the power.

If they follow similar pricing to the USA and price it just below the Cayman, in Canada the Cayman starts at $64K. Wonder if there will be any official pricing by Toronto.

Spec-wise, it falls in between the base and the S Cayman.  It's about 50lbs more weight than a Cayman.

Interesting. So besides the Cayman and TT-S, what else competes with this?

Is it that small?
I was imagining it RC350 sized

No..it's smaller than the Toyota 86...shorter wheelbase, lower CoG....it's a small car.

This doesn't fit for me as a replacement to the 350Z, but I'm glad to see something new & interesting coming out and look forward to seeing them on the road.  Even if it was available the way I'd want, I wouldn't see myself seriously considering it at that price when it's in the ballpark range of Cayman or Vette.

Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

I cannot put my finger on it, but the profile looks so identifiably Germanic / BMW Z.

So much of it looks like the FT1 Concept, maybe it is all in my head but the hood bulge, and waist, and tail bob just don't look like the proportions of a Toyota design. It's just a little too .... blunt.

Well, the car is a joint effort between Toyota and BMW, so....

The back is my favorite part. Looks awesome and distinctive.
I think it looks great from all angles. I only pause with regard to the interior volume and price.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?
