This group is filled with far too much common sense.I agree. But if you reviewed the new Golf, 911, Mazda CX-5, or perhaps a Lexus RX, or an Acura MDX...47 pages in 6 minutes guaranteed.Oh, and I TOLD YOU GUYS the Maserati QP (post 2007) was reliable. Hope Firm's parents continue to enjoy that luxo-barge 4-door Ferrari.

Why is everyone saying they'd buy a 911 over this thing? Honestly if I wanted a car like this and only had $50K I'm buy the nicest Lexus LS I could find. If I was in the market for something that a 911 offers I wouldn't be shopping for a Bentley, maybe a Jag, but not a Bentley.
and grab a screaming GS-F. Yeah, that's where my money would go.

But truth be told, I'd rather HAVE the Quattroporte. I just couldn't bring myself to put my own money into a probable money pit. So I'd compromise- in a way. Pass on the spastic Italian and the sober LS and grab a screaming GS-F. Yeah, that's where my money would go.
QPs are near the bottom of their value curve, and thus for what you get they are not money pits. Possibly the most reliable Italian car of recent vintage. I want one badly for Mafia cruiser nights...

that brings me to an annoyance of mine...why 467hp? Why not 465? Or 470? I am sure they could easily get to either figure. It is not a metric horsepwoer (PS) thing, because 467 is 473 PS...Just make it nice round figures. Not 352hp or 113hp or garbage like that.OCD rant over.

Could have easily been 420, right? yes, they could easily play with the A/F ratio or timing and get 420...or dial it back 0.0001% and get a nice 415hp. 416 looks too exact, and we know not all engines make exactly 416hp anyways...

What's your cut-off for an "exact" looking figure? I mean...OCD joke aside...there's no real reason that you have to go in arbitrary 5HP increments, is there? Apart from marketing?
5hp increments are nice little increments that make math easy for us knuckle-draggers. And yes, they look nicer on paper.
