To be fair to dirtyjeffer, I think we would raise the same arguments when the Ford Maverick is unveiled.

I called it in another thread that the Santa Cruz would start north of $30k in Canada. Don't even get auto climate control at that price but I suppose 5,000 lb makes up for it. I remember when the base Tacoma double cab 4x4 V6 6MT started at $29k.

They want 29 k for clapped out 200,000 km ones now.
$40k for a wish.com quality and the resale value of day old Kraft Dinner.....yeah, I'll take a Taco, a used Frontier and even the Maverick over this thing.Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk
I agree that this effort is considerably more impressive than the Ford offering. I don't know if it will have a better interior than the Taco (the Taco's interior while basic is screwed together very tightly), but I do know that I could probably fit in the Hyundai better than the weird ass seating position of the Toyota.I am actually concerned about the Maverick roll out. The full size Bronco roll out is not going as planned - dash rattles, misfitting roofs, dodgy plastics used in the cabin (source - Motor Trend), etc. With Ford, I think it is important to wait for V2.0.

I love what Ford is doing in terms of design but then they seem to have trouble putting it all together.
