Oh boy... a face only a mother could love on this thing  :rofl2:  Might look better in the flesh as the pics are pretty close up... could be a "looks good from far, but far from good" kinda deal on that... solid 20 footer  :rofl:  Has a bit of GMC Terrain going on as well in the side & front.

The rest looks great, interior is fabulous and I like how they integrated the screen into the dash  :thumbup: :thumbup:

I was expecting to be indifferent to this thing but I'm actually quite impressed. The face is a bit polarizing at best but the rest looks pretty good and the interior is fantastic.

The side profile is very nicely proportioned. I love that the rear window is upright.

Boo just a crossover, I was a little excited when I heard it was going after some of the truck based SUVs.

are you kidding? Never gonna happen.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Exterior=Frumpy
Interior=Nice
Engine=Meh. If they put the 3.3T in it, that would get my attention.

Will there be a Genesis version from this platform? They need a Genesis SUV or else the brand will go the way of Equus.

That's my take. And a polarizing face isn't hurting Lexus much. And no, that doesn't mean I'm equating Hyundai with Lexus so fanbois just relax.

I think it had to be a bit polarizing...you don't want to release a new SUV that fades into the background.

I don't mind the styling...

maybe a bit because of that, but also, other brands really improved their product to compete...the 2011 Sonata was a bit of a game changer when it came out...sleek looks, wicked feature set, reasonably priced.

The Genesis take on this will save the lux brand.

Nov 29 - interesting 12 min video showing a lot of the details of this vehicle (along with dramatic music - if you want)

The interior is incredibly pretty and I would rank it more of a Acura MDX or Audi Q7 competitor although not quite Lexus or Mercedes Benz grade.  Would be interesting to see what the lower trims look like.

Interior looks great.  Of course, anything looks better than what I'm used to....."functional" and "easy to clean" best describe the Pilot.

So I guess a lot of cars now are doing away with the old gear lever in favor of buttons. Not sure I like it, but overall the interior looks good.
