Live the looks of this car.  Seems like there are a lot of high tech features that I'm sure fail over time.  I'd love to buy a non turbo version and drop a LS V8 in it, big brake kit, coil overs, etc.  I think it could be a real fun project with a very capable sports car as the end result.

do not even entertain the idea, the beauty of these things was the twin-turbo V6
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

The biggest downfall of these cars was the horrible lack of room under the hood. I don't know if an LS would make things better or worse.

Ummmm, that's why I said to start with a non turbo model, of course I wouldn't do this to a twin turbo model.

As for the lack of space, if it's possible to shoe horn LS V8 in a NA Miata I think one could be fitted to this.

Actually...looking at it, the LS looks like it has WAY more room than the V6

The LS is pretty compact - I bet it is way smaller and lighter than a turbo V6.

I think I will stick to the original 240/60/80Z with the inline six.

That's not all that much considering it was essentially a light restoration with mechanical overhaul.

But yea, the 300ZX is expensive.

LOVE this car, always have.  If there was was one more relatively inexpensive Japanese sports car that I'd love to have in my stable, this would be it.......in that same colour, but with three pedals.

The NSX still remains my dream Japanese sports car though.

Love the Japanese cars from the 90s. 300ZX, Supra, MR2, FD RX-7, Miata. Such a range of sporting machines!

Dammit this is tempting, especially with only 18K on it.  And it's the right colour too!   ;D

Slushbox.  Don't do it.

:iagree:  Not sure I'd add this to your collection... this would be like the ugly sister outta of the three  :rofl2:

I remember driving one of these back in 1988 & it was a dog with the slushbox, there was nothing exciting about the car at all!!!  :banghead:
