Not that you'd want them in a current car.

I have only had two out of that list. The crank handle and oil bath filter. A rumble seat would neat to have.

Change of topic, but what is the legality of driving antique cars without seatbelts? Think about the rumble seat and look at the image. A collision means either ejection or decapitation. Is it legal to drive an antique car on public roads without seatbelts installed?

The Lada 1500s, 1600, and first Nivas that came to Canada in the late ‘70s to early ‘80s coukd all be started by crank handle.
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

Did not know that, makes me want a Lada even more! I found this video of a guy from MB with a 96 Niva FI that still has crank start,

it may vary by province, but in ON, if your vehicle came with seatbelts (legal for the model year), then you must wear them...i don't recall the exact year seatbelts were mandatory, but if you have a 1939 Buick, and it doesn't have seatbelts because the original one didn't, you don't have to wear them...i think many vehicle have since been modded to have them though, so it isn't overly common.
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.

Probably falls under the grandfather clause. Large class 8 trucks DID NOT come with front brakes until around the early-mid 70's if you can believe that. My Dad in law had a 1971 Peterbilt water well drilling truck that had absolutely no front brakes and it was legal and safetied each year. It fell under the same Grandfather clause because thats the way it came from the factory, as dangerous as it was to operate something that huge without such important gear.

Correct. Some of the old British stuff I've owned hasn't had seatbelts, no problem. Back in the late 90's / early 00's my mom's 3-season daily driver was a 61 MGA, no seatbelts. She used to pick us up from school in it pretty much every day, someone (nosey parent I assume) noticed the lack of belts one day and mentioned something to the school - nothing ever came of it though.

I haven't owned a vehicle with any of those features, but have always been a fan of rumble seats.  Cars had lots of character back in those days IMO.
