Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

agreed, it is an indication how good the car is...but MT has been known to miss on occasion with COTY (PT Cruiser etc.)

with the dwindling luxury sedan market (Caddy is now gone) Genesis is rising up the ladder as others fall off it

but without a CUV/SUV they will not be making mad chedda like the other brands
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Renault Alliance won in 1983, K-car in 1981, Chrysler Cirrus 1995, Malibu 1997

You laugh at the K-Car, but for its time, it was a good little car.  Yeah, really shitty by standards 10 years later, but that platform sold like hotcakes.

the purchasing decisions need to be taken into context too - at the time it was sold what other options were there? Nobody had money, oil crisis, etc. K-Car plugged a hole in the damn long enough for people to get out of the morass that was the late 70s - early 80s

Really out of the ones I listed... the only REAL dud was the Alliance... the others were considered innovative and leaders at the time.

Yup.  Pretty much all cars sucked then.  Wasn't the K-Car one of the first American mainstream front-drive platforms?  Your other options were a HUGE American boat with a gas-sucking, underpowered V8.  Or you could get into a Honda or a Corolla that were known to rust after only a few years.  Japanese cars hadn't reached the mainstream success yet that they've been enjoying for the last 30 years.
