What's different about yours compared to mine?  Mine works perfectly.  It doesn't work unless the door is open.  Your mechanic didn't force it, did they?

Do you remember if it was broken when you looked at it?

Because it came home with a broken pull!  LOL  And the mechanic out your way would have had to get into the hood area to do the shocks...

On mine, you literally have to pull it..MAYBE 1/4"..if that to pop the hood....whereas a regular hood release you pull it more..and I think people are used to pulling hood releases for real..and not just 1/4"  So SNAP!

I don't think it's unique to our car...have read lots of people on the forums complaining about the same thing.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

With your resources is it time to water-jet that thing out of titanium?  :P
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

Water jet can't do complex 3D stuff like that.

I could cut one out of aluminum on the 5 axis though!  Then the mechanism it snaps into would likely break.

Oh the IRONy  ;D

Saw a Genesis at the dealer, same as mine and noticed the aluminum wheels' centre caps were missing. Then it dawned on me the owner must have taken them off before "service" so they wouldn't get destroyed  :-X

Oh?  I didn't realize you were trying to sell it.  Lose much money on it?  Or did you get back basically what you put into it?

And, why the reason for getting rid of it?

We started losing money on it the second we bought it! LOL

But seriously...apart from the never ending phantom lights on the dash and the wonky window, it got her to work safely every day, rain or shine.

She said it was just time for a change.

So what is replacing it?  :stick:
You'll have to wait until tomorrow (possibly).
