Seem like they add some decent off road bits to their already capable platforms... not sure I'd wanna go bushwhacking in a $60k rig though... that first big scratch or dented fender would be painful   :rofl2:

The great resale values of those 3 vehicles is what keeps Toyota from updating them.    :rofl2:

Even when the 4Runner was in a serious sales slump, values where still insane.  Now that the popularity of them has rocketed back up, of course, yeah, resale is even worse.

Sadly that high resale value does not show up in Toyota lease interest rates so you’re basically stuck using $60k to buy and tie up your money.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I saw the 4-Runner version a few weeks ago at Fundy National Park.  It had NY plates so probably a lot more reasonably priced down there.  It looked good and really stood out with that blue paint.  I like all three of these vehicles but the mid-level trim would be just about right for my requirements.

Amen to that!  That's why it's loads of fun to go off-roading with someone else's new rig.  You can't imagine how much cringing I did when we were blasting over rocks in the new G63 a few months ago.

A new fender flare for a Jeep is like $100, doesn't need to be color matched and takes about 10-15 minutes to install....thats a proper offroad rig.
Lighten up Francis.....

Got to lease a end of year model Taco or Tundra to get out alive.

Yeah, envious of your job here, that's FOR SURE!!! Haven't take my JGC for any serious off-roading... even the Wrangler before it I didn't do anything too serious. Maybe if I keep the JGC long enough I won't feel too guilty in a few years   Oh & by then I could get some proper tires for the trails as well  :rofl2:

This guy wasn't afraid to get his GC a little muddy at the Penn's Woods Jamboree this year.  Huge thumbs up from me for it...
