My mind wouldn't allow me to drive such a thing to work, just one hit from another vehicle (not the same one) and the next thing I know...I'm a part of the pavement.

It's good for the back roads with the certainty of no deer crossing signs, or a next generation replacement for golf-carts.

Reminds me of a story when a kid ran a stop sign in his lifted pickup truck and T-boned an Elantra killing the driver. The dad went out and bought him another lifted truck. Screw others as long as my kid is safe, even though my kid killed some innocent person, right?

There's always something bigger

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I still quite like the smart. Reliability has not been it's strong suit and and that's being charitable. The electric one might be better. In general, the EV seems to be the one to go with out of the lineup.

Would you mind changing that to something less offensive?

"Found on Road Dead" gets the point across well enough.

With their safety cage design Smarts are actually pretty safe:

Someone was killed in one in Canada eventually, but it took years, and the early diesels tended to get a lot of highway miles as their mileage was astronomical

I like the new styling though a lot better than the old 'baby buggy' look

Talking with the wife if we should trade the truck on Smart EQ to run round town once I no longer need the truck
She does not like it, thinks it is too small

Absolutely....sorry, I could see how the kid is more important to the dad than the rest of society. Saying that, my kid would be getting a bus pass.
Lighten up Francis.....
