^^ this.

Justin, you may want to edit the article...the Sport and Sport Touring recommend Premium fuel...even though they are the same 1.5T engine used in the lower trims, it's tuned differently for higher output, hence the Premium Fuel recommendation...i know it doesn't say "required", but if it says recommended, it should be used.

I just can't find any love for this generation of Civic... looks like it's a bunch of Lego pieces put together.

Honestly, I haven't liked any of the Civics over the past decade. Grown too big, getting expensive, trying too hard.

But the sales numbers speak otherwise *shrugs*

Yup. Same here.  The Golf and Corolla hatch just look so much better to me.

I like the sport part, not the road noise or the “transformers” looking back end

When I first learned that Honda was bringing back the hatch version of for this generation I was pretty excited. But now when I see one in person I just feel sad... The rear end kinda works on the Type R because it has the massive wing and triple exhaust to overshadow the fake vents in the bumper. But alone they just stand out like a big pimple at the end of your nose. For the same price I'll take the SI sedan sitting next to this model in the showroom.

nice comparison  ;D  I have to agree, way too busy, could be a lot cleaner, they certainly went overboard.

I've kinda grown used to it and don't really mind the looks.  It's not great but I no longer want to put acid in my eyes whenever I see one.

The only thing that would keep me away is the road noise.  And if it wasn't going to see a lot of highway I could overlook it because the rest of the package is quite good.

When this and the Toyota C-HR came out, I thought they were ugly. The looks are growing on me now especially the C-HR with the two tone.

Fair point. We've added a notation that the Sport trims recommend premium fuel.
