Check every single day on the website. Even twice a day. You'll get it.

How long have you been a member?  A while back I missed a tire promotion due to waiting for them to be ordered. I went to the desk in the store and they saw I’d been a member since the 80s and they ate the cost (Bridgestone doesn’t allow leeway)

“You’ve been a long and loyal member, we can extend this offer for you.”

Tried ordering the tires for the Corolla but was charging me full install price. Called Costco and the discount hasn’t been applied to all Bridgestone tires, should be finished today or tomorrow.

So if you’re checking out and it’s still charging you the full pop, should be rectified soon.

I was charged full pop when I ordered but I am not concerned as they are very good refunding.

Not long. 4-5 years, maybe? My wife was a member for a while in the ‘90s, but we got tired of buying massive quantities of stuff we didn’t really need, then throwing half of it away. I’m still on the fence about the place, to be honest.  :P

Yeah, guess I’ll wait to see if the WS90s show up before the promotion ends. Still, the Vikingcontacts are around  the same price at Kal Tire, and install is the same twenty bucks per tire. But my buddy has been giving me 15% off, which is double what the Costco card is worth, if the WS90s even show up in time to get it.

With the discounts I am at $780 all in (tax included) with install for some DMV2s for the Ridgeline. No one can come close to that. Kal would want $1500 for some Nokians lol.

edit: Went to Kal online and it wasn't that bad $1044 out the door...

Fixed the issue for the WS-90s for the 'Rolla and tires ordered.  $540 including taxes and install and tire levy.  That's a very fair price, and bonus is $70 Costco card coming.  So, if you include that, it's $470.  Solid deal.

It took Costco less than 1/2 a day to refund my installation charges.  O0

WS90s in my size showed up on the website today. $230/tire, which is a fair bit more than the WS80s I bought five years ago. Can’t remember exactly, and my old installation receipt has no prices on it, but pretty sure those came out to around $190/tire after the rebate.

Anyway, still not a bad deal, so tires ordered. With the $70 Costco card, 1-cent installation and my 2% cash back, it will total just under $900 before tax.

The VikingContacts would actually have been a few bucks cheaper.  :P

Well, at least that's solved.  So they're about $20 each more expensive than the old ones, which isn't too bad.  But I get it.  I obsess for days over tires the same way everyone else does on here.  I'm going to be in the market to replace the Peanut's OEMs likely next year, and I'm not looking forward to it.  But at least I don't have to buy rims.

I wonder how the WS90's will perform compared to the WS80's.

Good question. The 80s were fantastic.

Got the WS-90's installed on the winter wheels for the Corolla on Sunday.  Dropped them off at noon per my appointment and they were ready before 12:30.

I had WS-80s on a Corolla.  They were brilliant.  Curious to hear how the 90s perform.

I'm curious about the changes.  Parts of southern Alberta are getting slammed by 200cm of snow.  But I'll stay here and wait to find out about their snow performance later...   ;D

They also have $100 off a set of 4 alloys.

Looking for a new set for the GF's 2019 Impreza. Stock 17s are 6.5 width, +55 offset.

I'm going to downsize to 16 inch for winter. Costco has 16 inch alloys, 6.5 width, +40 offset - these come up when I search by vehicle.

Is the offset OK?

I missed the recent Bridgestone deal, and I'm guessing it won't be back...
I'm thinking about trying BFG Winter TA KSI's. Has anyone tried these?

^^^I saw that as well.  I guess they figure that gift cards cost them less inasmuch as a $100 gift card costs them $100 minus their markup.    From a consumer perspective, the gift card is as valuable as cash b/c $100 is easy to spend during your first 5 mins at Costco...

The trouble with Costco and tires is trying to book shop time...

At least you can do it online now. But coming from NB to Ottawa was a shock for costco tire time... the lines/wait are insane. I ended up going to Kal tire half because of that.

?? They operate on an appointment basis, no waiting? I drop mine off loose and collect at end of day or in a few days.
