Mazda might not be the first brand that comes to mind when shoppers think of AWD, though they do offer some of the most advanced AWD technology on the road today. Mazda’s i-ACTIV AWD system is computer-controlled, and constantly monitors numerous inputs – including outside temperature, speed, steering angle, and even the currently selected wiper setting – to help the system make better choices about enhancing traction and control.

This is the first video I thought of when reading the article.  The marketing mumbo jumbo doesn't translate to real-world effectiveness in any way.

Watched the video and realized the driver was drunk and trying to get up the ramp by going the wrong way. So silly.

Go out in snowy weather in a CX-3, CX-5, whatever, with winter tires on - I guarantee you'll find no faults with its AWD system.  I found it quite admirable, as does Brigitte with Ms. Peanut.

Holy crap that's impressive.  There's basically zero excess wheel spin when the tires are in the air.

Proper 4x4 vs on demand AWD.
