It's an interesting offer, but the RWD only platform will limit its attractiveness for Canadians.  Down south it may fare better.

Spectacular numbers though!

Snow tires and that battery sitting over the drive wheels will work wonders in the snow. I used to drive a Dunlop M2 snows on a C5 Corvette through one foot powder with ease.  Just as long as you can maintain momentum.

Right or wrong, most Canadian luxury car buyers will disagree with you.

considering corvettes have fiberglass body panels, driving them in cold temperatures is not a very smart idea.

+1. RWD was an advantage in my book. Lighter car with better steering feel and fuel economy.

Flip that LP Steve

Why, because Lexus lags behind in bringing a plug-in LS, or the one that is fuel efficient?

If the weight distribution is 50/50 (don't know) it makes no difference where  the drive wheels are perhaps. It's time that manufacturers got real and concentrated more on range than blinding acceleration...who needs the latter other than those sold on it by salesmen. Range will beget more incentives currently.

Sell the range and squash the ooomph.

They should have built the battery under the seats to not compromise cargo capacity.
I love CT6, but I didn't realized it costs so much!
Saw a sparkling black CT6 on the road the other day and it looked amazing.  There's a Caddy/Chevy/GMC dealer right by my home, I should stop by for some seat time, just for fun. :)

Yeah, but No-San has a point. Facts mean nothing in today's world. Most buyers have by now been brainwashed into thinking they need AWD just to survive winter. It's marketing and for many, it's worked.
