He bailed to save injury.yea, one thing about those races, is the riders have top notch gear and know how to "crash"...factor in the space off the track and it allows them to dismount and ditch the bike with relative ease...might still get a bit injured, hopefully just bruises and scrapes, but MUCH better than if that happened on the road where you hit a tree or another car (or the Isle of Mann race where you hit the stone walls).

They have telemetry-based air bag deployment leathers too.On many tracks, they have air fences.
