not quite clear as to what vehicles you mean with "new CUV", but if you mean the following here's the actual sales in Canada and the US for the first six months of 2016:

Fiat 500x:  500 / 6,531
Jeep Renegade:   2,355 / 51,850
Mazda CX-3:  4,702 / 9,502
Honda HR-V:  5,516 / 36,443

Actually surprise how close the numbers of the Mazda CX-3 and Honda HR-V are in Canada!  For some reason, Canadians like Mazda's more.

Yeah, no one wants these, that's why it's in one of the fastest growing market segments.

While I have not seen a lot of these HRV things....tell the truth, I've noticed maybe two or three in my travels, this segment of penalty box "suv's" is quite popular. The Buick and Chevy thing in this category is very popular right now judging by the amounts I've seen around here.
