S90's rear end isn't working for me. OTOH, V90's rear looks great!

Agree, not only is the V90 gorgeous and practical, it's that the S90 styling aft of the A-pillar is dull at best, and that rear is just homely, IMHO.
you can't really go by reviews though...the vehicle is usually only hard on gas relative to how it is driven...since many cars nowadays are forced air (turbo, etc) they generate plenty of twist down low...this often causes the testers to enjoy the boost, which of course uses more fuel...when driven "normally", they are fine.
This is what i don't understand: if the boost and subsequent torque in these new engines arrives as low as it does, i.e. 1500 RPM or thereabaouts, then one is *always* in the boost, whether driving aggressively or normally, right? How woul one avoid tapping into the boost when it arrives so early?
