I'd hope that Porsche could make more than 265 hp out of that 2 liter turbo. If I was to guess I'd say they'd probably do something like 270 or 275 for the base model. The S would get a similar small increase.
We know they are capable of getting 500 hp out of a small 2L turbo engine so why would anyone think they'd decrease horse power to 240 (down 25 hp)?
Porsche never went for big HP numbers, but for handling, feel, drivability.. Therefore, I would expect them to sacrifice power to reduce turbo lag.. The turbo lag in my R is acceptable for the kind of car it is, but never would be in a Porsche.
EDIT: I suppose a twin scroll/TT set up could do that too.
