At first glance I thought it said XTS.  Confusing nomenclature!  If they're gonna stick with this current naming scheme, then the redesign for the Escallade should be called the XTC.  That would be kinda cool.  8)

The gauges are a lot more attractive than the ATS or non digital CTS ones. My only issue with this vehicle is how it seems too narrow from the rear, just like the current SRX. Hopefully it is a perception issue only in pictures and not in the metal.

I think this is the way that Caddy should be moving.  I approve.

The front end looks like half a parts department.  Come on, it's the front of a car. There's only so many things that need to be designed into it.
And some cretins think I hate cars.

GMC Terrain with a Caddy face lift. Cadillac still has to convince me to consider any of their vehicles.
And that naming convention... hmm... what a frak is XT5?????? Do they have an XT3 or XT7????

I think that's coming down the road.. XT3 for a smaller CUV based of Encore/Trax and XT7 for... Escalade? Maybe they'll keep the Escalade name since it's pretty well established now.

I like what I see in the pictures. Much better dashboard compared to basic ATS and CTS.

The XT5 is the first on the all new SWB C1XX platform.  It will share the same platform as the next generation GMC Acadia.  (classified as mid-sized)

Traverse and Enclave will be on LWB C1XX. (classified as full sized)

Terrain is on Theta I platform and will move to a D2XX platform in it's next generation (compact).  Trax and Encore are on Gamma II (sub-compact).

I think it looks great. Caddy should have no issue selling these.
