What I do find interesting about the Rav4 Hybrid is the 'tach':

They've done that on Lexus for awhile.  Since 2007.

My Escape has Hercules Avalanche X-Treme snow tires.

What pressure do you run at , to give you a smooth bump free ride  :rofl2:

They're at 38psi.  After three winters, they've developed a bit of a vibration at some speeds, so they'll get balanced at the next service interval.  Have people had trouble balancing these tires?  I noticed one of them has a pretty hefty weight on it.

Again, it wasn't my idea to equip the vehicle with these tires, and for what I gather they cost they're not a bad value.
And some cretins think I hate cars.

Ford was ahead of their time with the Escape Hybrid - it was such a stupid decision to drop that powertrain out of the Escape - IMHO
Odd, especially since several cab companies use Escapes instead of Prii, or at least they did. Maybe Ford didn't get the hybrid package to give good enough results in one factor or another.

Not the same thing.  The Rav's has no #s whatsoever...the Lexus Hybrids still show kWs.  I like the idea of literally no #s.

One could argue that with an automatic transmission at least, a mileage readout is more useful and interesting than a tachometer.

100000000000000000000000% agree.

...I'm trying to find something exciting about this vehicle :P

It is the mileage
The same  reason you get a 96%  efficient furnace  And a 25 seer AC unit, when you can get 85% , 13 seer AC unit cheaper , pay now or pay later

It's more than just the mileage.  The Rav Hybrid will be significantly faster that the regular RAV which is pretty sh*t like all NA 4 bangers in that category.
