Corolla won the comparison for me between it, Senta and Elantra (did not have new Civic yet) when I was shopping for a new car for my parents. Certainly looks like the best package on the market right now for the right price.

Couldn't agree more on your assessment of the car - we bought the car originally for my better half to drive, but I have been driving it pretty much all the time. Good seats on long drives, more than enough room for all of us, good MPG and LOVE the headlights at night. It's no sports car, but that dream is a lottomax ticket away for me

IMO, this was the smartest move Toyota made in updating the 'Rolla.  It truly makes the car look 'upscale' (at least more so) from the exterior at night.

I really liked that Corolla.  The Jetta's 1.4T was a better engine, but the transmission sucked.  I much more enjoyed driving the Corolla between those two testers.

It is possible to be a Corolla fan and a car geek. My daily driver must be good on fuel, quiet, be comfortable, and not annoy me. I am thinking of opting out of our company car program and taking a car allowance. I am not driving much for work these days given that I now work remotely. This car and the Scion iM/Toyota Auris/Corolla Hatchback would definitely be on my shortlist.

Great article! I loved every word of it... it should be hard to snatch one up in the used market for this model for sure!
The best car is one that is cheap to operate. If you are curious about bidets please visit my web site on how they can improve your quality of life!
