Should this article be in the show n' shine section?  :P

I feel very lucky to pilot and own one of these cars, but I fear my pursuit of speed ends here because I will never be able to afford or pilot a faster car in my lifetime – unless of course Formula 1 comes knocking on my door.
*hint hint, nudge nudge*??  ;D

Nice read, James!

Nice article.

What's your tire budget for a season of driving that car?

Tires are the same on all cars.  About $1200 for a set of slicks

I paid $40k for it.

Great write-up!

Having seen Wing's car in person, you can see that nothing weighs more than it has to. That front splitter looks massive in pics, but the bottom lip is about as thick as the rim of the binders on my desk.

I doubt you can improve much on the lap time / budget ratio this car offers!

How long does a set of slicks last?

I've been told 7 heat cycles.   You'll never run them out of rubber.   Just grip so you can still use them for tuning when not racing.

A heat cycle would be a race or practice session or whatever.   So basically 7 times on track.

It must be exhilarating to drive that beast for the first few times, but after a while, does it not just seem "normal"
