I love that it's obvious from the styling that this is a RWD platform.

Wow!!

But the devil is in the details as power is only part of it's appeal.

little too curvy for my taste but look fine otherwise.

I thought the rear has a lot of Kia Optima in it...

Either way, another offering - choice is good! I just hope this isn't built as a purposeful "ultimate Driving machine" and is instead a fashionable alternative to the Ferrari.

Nice - too bad half the vid is about a tunnel.  Does Alfa make tunnels too?

want one, want one badly.

I am biased, but I think this is the best in the segment. Hope it drives as well as it looks, and it should considering its architecture underneath.

Welcome back Alfa.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

So you think it's best in segment without any road testing done yet?

At least you admit to be biased.   ;D

looks, power, and sound, yes it is. Driving dynamics is the true trump card, however, and we shall see about that. I think, given Alfa's stress on driver's cars etc. that it will be epic-ally good

80k is M3 territory, is it not?...this is more like a 335 or 340 fighter

Edit: Lol..subconsciously I never saw this as a 80k car even with 510hp...hahaha hence the comment

Dude, it has 510 hp. It's most certainly an M3 competitor.

it certainly is, and I think it will be better, with BMW crapping the bed as of late making their cars more luxurious and softer.

This is FCA we're talking about.  "Better" is a word rarely used within FCA.  I'm guessing this car will be a reliability nightmare.

I have no idea of why you'd think that.

Someone agrees with me...Though his timeline for arrival is late 2016. So that's a bit better at least.

I really like the front of the car - but the side profile isn't anything special - I think it looks very previous gen IS-F - nice, but I would want an Alfa to be stunning from every viewpoint.

And I agree with DeLorenzo - it's going to be a total POS quality wise.  An M4 or AMG will be a vastly better car.  AMG cars have proven to be pretty well made.  Audi's latest performance cars are proving to be among their best efforts too.

Agreed.  I would stay far away.
