Even with the upgraded power and torque, I'm going to miss the screaming high rpm wail of the 458.   I have a feeling that since they're the last of the breed, they may be collectors cars in the not so distant future.

It will be interesting to see the comparisons to the Huracan as well - all the reviews I've read have been very positive.  Here's hoping for a supercar shootout with the Huracan and the McLaren!

The entire drivetrain is about 15 kg heavier than before, but not only is the overall power to weight ratio much lower, the engine sits five mm lower than what was already a low car before.

Unless I am mistaken, you meant to write the ration was higher.

You're right, I got confused when editing because of the drivetrain being heavier. Fixed now.

I'll be disappointed if it doesn't sound as awesome as the 458...

Its looks great, Im sure it will be a great performer and will be an appreciating asset....saying that, I am way more excited about the release of the Focus RS. This thing is about as attainable as a long weekend romp with Selma Hayek....
Lighten up Francis.....

A fantastic car no doubt but I can concur that recent Ferrari's sound different than the previous generations.

Good to know that it wasn't just my hearing.
