On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

New IS-F?
That was my thought, too.  If they already have the RC-F, why not make an IS-F?

And who says the GS is too big to be a track car?  The F-ing CTS-V is "track ready".  Ready for a track doesn't mean that it has to have the fastest time at Nuremberg, just that it is geared towards hardcore smooth asphalt at high speeds.

Money down that this will be IS-F.

Has to be the IS-F.  Surprised that isn't the leading candidate mentioned in the article??

Can't imagine Lexus building a GS-F nor LS-F without first doing a new IS-F.

And the headlights and body kit look much closer to the IS than the larger cars.

Ron, the lexus slappy, has told me the GS-F is coming so it actually might be that.

On closer inspection, I think you may be right.   Those headlights look a lot like the standard GS one's with some extra body cladding covering the lower portions.

This would get me very excited for a future used purchase....

Honestly, with the CTS-V coming out, Lexus kind of needs to bring the GS-F back...but I still think it looks like the new IS-F.

I'm just dreaming of an IS-F...at $35k...loaded...new.  (note, I said DREAMING...)

I still want to drive a GS450h, though...~5.5s 0-60, Corolla-like fuel economy...

I'm hoping for GS-F...that would be intriguing.

However, given that a GS-F would be a large luxury sedan with a roomy backseat weighing over 4,000lbs, either me or Lexus doesn't understand track-ready.

The RC-F is a porker.  I'd imagine the GS-F won't be lighter.

Agreed.  I think we have an IS-F on our hands here.

I love, love, love the GS.

The GS-F would be VERY cool indeed. Especially if it can undercut the Germans or offer better value.

But the GS does that already, doesn't it?
