This is a helluvalot better than the Suzuki Jimny :P

If Chevy used this design language in any/all of its new vehicles on these shores, it'd potentially set aside my hatred for GM.

Ahh thanks for the catch. I meant the 2.0L Ecotec Turbo and corrected it in my above post.

Everything looks good in concept. Just wait until they strip the fun out of it.

If Suzuki had had any brains, they would have offered an off-road version of the Grand Vitara, tricked out to look something like this.  It wouldn't have taken a lot to do it.
And some cretins think I hate cars.

I miss my Lada's, they broke down a lot and I learned a lot about auto mechanics with them.

GM (Chevy) Niva... don't know about the name, I like it better on the old 4x4, but the name works in the sense that it makes you think of a tough 4x4 that can go anywhere.

I like it, it has it's personality, but take the winch away, would that make it more wimpy?  I wouldn't pay for that option, just because the look.   Not too may places to use it really. (at least for me)

My 2˘'s anyway

Why the hell would I read it when I had already read these 9 AND 10 DAYS AGO, respectively.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Russian market cars are not at the top of my list to write about when they come out. Our focus is primarily the Canadian market, and if we have time, we write about cool things going on in the rest of the world.

Also, yesterday was kind of a slow news day, as the article states:

Quote
You know what? There isn’t much news today. Actually, I have been struggling all morning and part of the afternoon to find something interesting to write about. And then I remembered…

THERE’S A NEW NIVA!
