2 things wrong that doomed that jump from the start:

A ) Hes french

B ) He tried to jump it in his wifes mini  ;D

I hope he alright. That was a lot of flipping at the end.

I have a friend that is a Red Bull sponsored athlete and he receives ~$300K a year from them, but man, does he do a lot of stuff for them.  Still awesome money, so he's not complaining.

Ha, makes me look at some of my clients and think - if only you were driving a rally car, your injuries wouldn't be so severe - or are you just making this sh!t up?

Pretty amazing if he actually comes out of it unscathed and without any chronic pain.

I remember when Ken Block made that kind of kick-a$s jump in a Subie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NsiphQ5kKI) - the preparation needed to properly weight the car (i.e. placing weights in the trunk) so it wouldn't nose-dive was immense.  A feat of engineering: not just driving a car really fast onto a ramp.
