Just checking but this is North America so different perceptions are at work here. Regardless if its right or wrong, it is what it is.

Exactly what I was thinking.  Just because something works one way elsewhere doesn't mean it will here.

That's why all these manufacturers offer specific models for specific markets, or specific options and packages.

And irregardless of perceptions, the Genesis sedan outsells both the Lexus GS and Infiniti M for both Canada and the US despite being an older model and not having available AWD.

The new Genesis with AWD should expand the sales lead.

In addition, sales of the V8 Genesis are quite robust whereas Toyota had to cancel the V8 GS.

Whatever the market perceptions are, they have not helped Infiniti M/Q70 or Lexus GS sales, much less Acura RLX sales.
