Yeah, USB-C on the new iPhones is going to be handy, but I still think I’ll miss Lightning. Call me crazy, but I really like the way Lightning plugs in and out with a satisfying click.

I’ve got other USB-C devices and it’s just not the same.

I may be a total Apple sheep but yeah, I do agree. The products feel very satisfying to use.

Hopefully a mini or SE version debuts in a year or two.

Got the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Went to the larger size for the first time in many years... really liking it so far.

Are you liking the USB-C charging? That's a big plus for me, since my iPad Pro uses that....

Blows my mind that Apple has taken this long to see the light.

They fought it but lose against new EU rules to be effective December 2024, so be it (USB-C) worldwide, I guess..

Have been eyeing that iPhone 14 Pro and finally pulled the trigger on a pre-boxing day sale. Saved $1150 over getting the new 15 Pro. I haven't bothered to do a deep dive into the differences between the phones, but whatever they are, there's no way it would be worth over a grand extra to me.

Of course, my wife had to have the latest and greatest, so she ended up buying a 15 Pro Max. Kind of a pain, as now she needs a USB C cable and I'm still using Lightning, so we'll have a bunch of extra cables cluttering up the vehicles and around the house. Oh, well.

Haven't taken any pics with mine yet, but I'm sure it will be a big step up over my old XR. The camera in hers seems pretty awesome so far. She took this the other day (Steller's Jay, for those who don't frequent the bird nerd thread  ;D )

Wow, yeah. Great zoom apparently on that Pro Max. Too big a phone for my pocket though

I'm juggling with the idea to move my Public mobile (3G, 5GB/mth) cell plan to Fizz but ... unsure :shuffle: , anyone has an experience with them?

PM has few interesting (5G & 4G) promo but best are  "available for new activations only."  :nono:
