Have been eyeing that iPhone 14 Pro and finally pulled the trigger on a pre-boxing day sale. Saved $1150 over getting the new 15 Pro. I haven't bothered to do a deep dive into the differences between the phones, but whatever they are, there's no way it would be worth over a grand extra to me.
Of course, my wife had to have the latest and greatest, so she ended up buying a 15 Pro Max. Kind of a pain, as now she needs a USB C cable and I'm still using Lightning, so we'll have a bunch of extra cables cluttering up the vehicles and around the house. Oh, well.
Haven't taken any pics with mine yet, but I'm sure it will be a big step up over my old XR. The camera in hers seems pretty awesome so far. She took this the other day (Steller's Jay, for those who don't frequent the bird nerd thread
