OK,  I'll avoid driving in the 3rd world then....as long as 3rd world drivers don't come and drive around here.

Wow....2, 3 and sometimes 4 times as higher rate of death as Canada...bad roads, shoddy cars and a lack of a real training and licensing system are probably the reason.....probably hitting a carriage pulled by water buffalo on an unlit road is a cause as well. Our roads are only going to get worse as population increases and more and more immigrants from those nations come here.

Our local university has a very high proportion of foreign students from the Middle East and Asia, many of whom seem to be very affluent.(lots of Lexus,BMW, MB etc etc)  Some of the driving behaviour I've seen is "interesting" to say the least.
