You can't beat a Pruis. I'm doing 80-90,000 without a single issue.  Just hit 405,000 They other day. I'm thinking I should change the brake pads. Still on the same set when I brought it 94,000. You do need a good set of Winter Tyres. There is a way to turn off the traction control if you get stuck. But i've got stuck only once. YouTube has the video if your interested

No how to turn the traction control off. I got awfully stuck and YouTube saved me. During a really bad storm in Kingston. I could not getting go. It has nanny device  to stop you spinning wheels.....It's for a Camry works for a Pruis MK2.
