Its weird. I bet if you ask her she would have the following criticisms
1. I take certain corners too quickly
2. I brake a bit too firmly
3. I accelerate too fast when merging
4. I drive too slow on city streets
5. I don't change to the "ideal lane" often enough
6. I always slow down when stuff is going on in front of me (ie: some guy slowing down to turn into a parking lot)
7. I don't accelerate enough when facing a yellow light
So its some combination of stereotypical cautious and aggressive. Personally I would reply, point by point:
1. the ones I do take like that are wide open and nobody is around, so taking the car to 6/10 who cares really
2. I brake firmly early on so as to give myself more margin
3. Better to get up to speed quickly, gives you more margin of error to merge
4. well yes, its city streets, why bother going 80 in a 60....speed traps and all sorts of unforeseen circumstances etc. This is Toronto after all.
5. some of it is laziness but every lanechange involves some measure of risk...for how much return really?
6. of course I slow down when stuff happens in front of me...a lot of the time she stays at her current speed and tries to "time" the moment the guy in front will get out of the lane. Its terrible really. I don't trust people, so I don't take chances.
7. I hate yellow light zoomers.
My criticisms of her would be that she drives too fast and she makes really strong assumptions about how other drivers will behave, what car will be where at what time etc. She takes a lot of chances IMO if cars don't move the way she expects, or worse if there is another one of her on the road at the same time. Its bad
