It's the Alberta advantage. :stick: ;D

Montreal roads vs Toronto roads?

come over for real pot holes!

Pffffttt.....come to our end of the world for potholes, Edmonton has the worst roads Ive ever driven on.

Umm. so this is post flood damage right ? I can't imagine that road be allowed to be in that condition pre flood. If so you win, we have nothing that I've seen that bad here in the GTA.

No flood damage here....thats just the state of our roadways.
Lighten up Francis.....

Come on guys, this is just a silly article.  Best cars for pothole streets?  Give me a break.  What's next, best cars for roads with the most right hand turns?  Best cars for steep inclines?

so suggesting some picks for a specific quality phrased in a way that makes sense relating to much of the population's driving conditions and daily driving patterns is silly?

most of us have to drive on either potholed or snow-packed streets on a regular basis, so why shouldn't we discuss which cars are best in that environment - is this less relevant than discussing g forces that will never be reached, or articles on $100K barges that only a tiny fraction of the population will ever be able to afford? we like to have a little bit of everything for all types of drivers and people thinking about their next purchases as well as coverage of vehicles that stir the passion.

One of the best I've driven over rough roads in recent memory was the CR-V long-term car we had this winter - incredibly comfortable, probably the best in its segment for comfort without feeling sloppy.

Now you can kind of see why I recommend anyone moving here get something with a bit of ground clearance and some beefier tires.......

How about a mid 80s Cadillac or Lincoln?  You wouldn't even feel the bump, animals, tires and other debris you were driving over as you float down the road in your velour couch  ;D

Markham is also delightfully devoid of them  ;D

Frame, solid axle....yeah, just may work, but some skid plating might not be a bad idea.

I'd be amazed if any Canadian city has worse potholed roads than Winnipeg...could be true but if so your city has truly shite roads and you should drive a truck...or a Highlander.  :)
