I trust someone noticed where Suzuki scored.  I wonder what CR thinks of that.
And some cretins think I hate cars.

The thing is, they don't even tell you the types of problems.  Maybe it is audio system issues or a plastic trim piece rattling, rather than an engine blowing up in a piston melting fury or a transmission grenading.

Hello - I'd like to buy a car with zero problems.

I'm sorry - there's no such thing. The best we can do is Lexus with a 71% chance of a problem. Porsche is almost guaranteed to have a problem. Everything else has between one and two problems.

OK - I'll take the one with the least expensive problem - which is it?

Sorry - we don't disclose that. It will either be a total breakdown or you'll get confused by something.

I'll take confused. Which is it?

Sorry - JD Powers won't tell us - you'll have to take a chance.

Sleazy salesman - this is the most useless information ever - you should be fired.

:iagree: That is why I ignore JD Powers.

If we could see the survey for Mercedes I think it would go like this -

How many problems?

Only one.

What category?

Electronics.

Been to the dealer?

90 times.

Explain.

Lights flashing, CEL on, alarms going off. Go to dealer. Order parts. Make appointment. They fix. Car unfixes itself. Rinse and repeat over and over until lease expires.

Funniest thing I've read on here for a long time.

Audi/ VW perennial bottom feeders. Mercedes Benz...now if they could only get their routine service costs in line..way too high.

VW and Audi are always near the bottom of the list. Perennial bottom feeders. Mercedes has made great strides...now all they have to do is get their service rates in line with other premium brands.
