That's what my neighbours with the brand new JX told me. Wasn't the Pathfinder a unibody design anyway? I'm a bit mystified by all this talk about how the truckiness has been taken out of it when it didn't have any in the first place. Now, if people were talking about the Xterra I would understand.
The older Pathfinder was a unibody design, but the '05-'12 model was a BOF design that shared its platform with the Titan, Frontier, and Xterra.
But even the old unibody Pathfinders were fairly truck like with a solid rear axle and low-range transfer case.
