I've never driven this vehicle but its one of the worse vehicles I have ever sat in, so wouldn't even waste my time doing it.

I never got to drive the SRT-4 version, but heard they were fun; albeit lacking to their competition.  I did drive a rental SXT and two R/T's and they were less then inspiring.

The interiors were very spartan and cold.  They did have some cool features though like the flip down rear speakers.

What a terrible car. Someone I know bought one a few months ago. When I heard, it was all I could do not to ask why. So many great cars in this segment, and he chose a Caliber?  ???

If Dodge wants to be taken seriously, the Caliber's successor will need to be better than the Focus or Elantra, and I highly doubt that will happen.

I drove a Caliber briefly, it had a CVT and even beside it the car sucked in every way. So good riddance. I hope it will be replaced with something designed. Come to think of it, it's the last ugly duckling in the Fiatsler lineup.

I think it'll look good on Chrysler/Fiat if they can introduce a product that is even competitive (if not besting) the Focus and Elantra. I think besting those two from essentially zero would be very close to impossible. The only thing they have going for them is Fiat's technology and platforms and that they finally have some drive an direction. Whatever they do it will have to be absolutely incredible out of the gate to even make a dent in their competitors numbers.

the caliber should have been killed in it's conception.

It was supposed to be Chrysler's saviour. Many Mopar stores closed their when they saw it.
