Worth a shot, help finding a factory rim for cheap.
« on: August 15, 2011, 03:24:40 pm »
So Saturday come out to the garage and our car has a complete flat.

2009 Ford Taurus X Limted

Pump it up and the air is leaking from the sidewall. Looking closer I see the rim has a small sized bend in it. About the site of a screwdriver head.

Why that size, because thats what was ran over in a parking lot somewhere, a screwdriver. So the force of that and at the perfect angle dented the rim enough. Awesome

Take the car with the dummy tire it to fountain tire since we have road hazzard warranty. Tire is fixable, rim is not. Awesome, just my luck as usual,

Worse news, stupid Ford wants $520 for a factory rim.

So, just seeing if anyone out there may know of one that can be had for cheap, or cheaper.

Worse comes to worse I may spend a few hundred more and get 4 brand new after market rims that look way better than these.

Thanks in advance

Just to add, I didnt realize there were different spoke styles for these so some more ino

18" rim, 7 spoke.  Thanks
