Looking for advice on how to get a nice (prepackaged?) honeymoon plan. Most likely will be some time in June. Prefer France and/or Italy. 10 days or thereabouts.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

We had our honeymoon in France as well. Good choice. Albeit, we were away for 3 weeks. Rented a car and drove South to see some of the castles of Loire Valley, further south to Bordeaux, over to the West coast and a week in La Rochelle, up to Versailles, Lemans and then back to Paris.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

I assume the honeymoon is for you.   If that's case, congrats.   I planned our honeymoon in NFLD myself.  It's a good bit of work but very customized.

If you are looking for a honeymoon and are considering Italy, I couldn't recommend the Amalfi Coast or Lake Como region enough.  I spent a month in Italy back in May and it was an incredible place to visit.  I honestly couldn't imagine a more romantic place than the Amalfi Coast or Lake Como and I would definitely consider both ultimate honeymoon location spots.  I've got lots of pics so if you need reassurance, just let me know.   ;D

My only advice is to book FAST.  The best places/ best hotels/ best deals seem to go fast (well, at least the ones I was looking at.  I haven't travelled a whole lot though.  I've been travelling more in the last few years.  I now book several months ahead, even a year.

Been to Italy, you can't go wrong with Italy.  Have not been to Amalfi Coast but have also heard what CanuckG35 said about it.

Here's a thought for a veeery relaxing type of travel:  european river cruising.  Pricey, but I highly recommend it for a special occasion.  I totally hate having to do any work/research for vacation, I'm a workaholic until the last minute, and I just want to board a plane and have everything done for me.  So the "pack/unpack-only-once-and-have-everything-planned-for-you-but-you-still-can-decide-what-you-want-to-do-every-day-yourself" kind-of-trip that the river cruises offered was perfect for me (and fortunately hubby too).  But that's just me.  If you and your fiance might like that kind of stuff, I highly recommend Uniworld Cruises.  Top notch.

EDITED: Typos, bad grammar.

We did a week of our honeymoon at Octoberfest in Munich, camping.   I wouldn't recommend it.  We both commented very early into the trip that we should have done this one when we were single. ;)

Thanks for the suggestions all. Unfortunately I don't think anything nautical is in the cards (we went on a cruise last year, and she got seasick for a bit...), but I have seen some Almafi Coast stuff and that does sound quite enticing....still hunting.

Looks like it will be Italy, but its still early. Just really hard to find a vacation place that you can really trust...

Well I do remember, and so does my wife, late one night a young lady (?) crawled into our tent.  She was no doubt even more inebriated more than us.
She didn't stay to long. :(
