You could get in dash DVD nav, blue teeth the hole bit for about 350 check out the best buy junk, wait for boxing day ;)

I recommend you buy and have installed at the same place.  It makes it easier if you encounter issues later.  Also I have a feeling that most install places aren't so keen on installing components purchased from some place else.  YMMV. 

I can't off any suggestions as to where to go in Ottawa.  Look for an installer that has been around for a few years.

It's surprising how much of an improvement can be had by just replacing the stock head unit and speakers.  I replaced the stock unit in my Cherokee with a Nakamichi (didn't replace the speakers though) and the sound quality difference was impressive.

If going single din factor in an extra $30 or so for the mounting kit.  And for all of the above a wiring harness.  Installation of the deck could be pretty straighforward for the 500.  Speak installation however can be annoying.

The Futureshop on Bank St. has a good reputation for installation, but any should work as it's pretty simple stuff to do.

..Thanks O'Slow One......the cheapy one.... :shuffle:..would be good in my Ranger and the WINTER BEAT'er goes on and on ...any "heads" up ;) on speakers ta match...they are offerin 20% Orff bundled in the deal.....?????........................does it include a date wif Taylor Swiftly.....or  Artic Steve.... :rofl:

Yeah, that JVC seems like a good deal.  The USB thumbdrive is a great way to go.

No speaker suggestions outside of going to the store and giving a listen.  Anything will be better than the stock speakers and sound is such a personal preference. Or, whatever is on sale.
