i always liked the 1st and 2nd gen eclispes  but things don't look to bright for mitsubishi
in america if this is to be believed

My thoughts exactly - they'd have been better to let the name die with some dignity rather than build this fat slob. Sure it looks nice but I remember when this gen was first introduced looking at the weight and thinking it would never be a decent performer.
My other Honda is an MP4-31!

I was considering the Mitsubishi Eclipse a year ago, and I'm very glad that I chose the Genesis Coupe over the Eclipse. Not that Eclipse is a bad car but I think the Genesis Coupe offers more fun, better quality, better looking, and more value than the Eclipse. Absolutely love my Genesis Coupe. ;)

Recently a USA Blog said the Plant in Ill where they produce Mitsubishi vehicles is closing down and the Company would be leaving the NA Market!  Does anyone know about this?
