Don't worry Ovr..he'll never let us forget ;-)

It's funny.  Others people who owned Supras are "hooked" for life.  I will definitely own another.  And still annoyed with myself for selling it.

Just make sure i can get in for a test drive when you buy the next one... :)

You have my word.  I'm pretty generous with letting most anyone drive my cars.  I won't offer you my IS350 since it has flappy paddles... ;D
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Will hold you to that.

And no worries about the IS350. I don't fit anyway. :)

The Mustang feels VERY VERY heavy.  I can upset any car, you aren't trying hard enough ;)

5 minutes in my test drive of a 2011 GT-CS and I had one thought - "Bob is going to kill me."

Why?  After all my blabbing, the 2011 Mustang ain't worth the $20,000 I'd have to come up with if I threw in my RX-8.

I completely agree with Wing's assessment that this car feels very heavy.  It's very easy to drive mind you...a light clutch, lots of torque, and a great sound-track.  However, as accurate as the steering is, it didn't have much feel to it at all...which is my largest disappointment.

If you want to know how little hard numbers and power mean to me, I'll tell you that if I didn't know there was a new engine under the bonnet with 100 more hp than 2010...I wouldn't have noticed.

The best part, other than the general sound, power, torque...was the gearbox.  Wow...very nice!!  It sure does hook-up nice too.

Oh...and before I got out of the comfy driver's seat, I fondled the dash...all soft-touch.

Hmm...that 996 steering felt much better...

Steering feel is really important to me too.  I think I'd have to eliminate a car if I was disappointed with its steering feel, even if I loved everything else about it.

I love the fact that I can feel every undulation in the road through the TSX's steering wheel.  Of course, the trade-off is a firm suspension that's a little bumpy and less refined.  I was even a little disappointed that I couldn't feel much granularity through my 335i's steering, despite the fact that is perfectly precise and very quick.  But the ride is more refined and overall, it's a significantly better driving experience.

If the added power wasn't noticeable, would a further $6-8k reduction in cost (on a leftover '10 GT) be worth it to you?  Still the same interior and great sound track and lusty torque (just less of it).
